This cultivar was selected for its white edged leaves and its growth tops which color light pink. Cornus kousa 'Snowboy' performs best in semi-shade. When planted in full sun spots, the leaves might burn during summertime. We recommend to plant this cultivar in a dark corner of your garden or in a forestgarden. Its leaves color dark red to purple in autumn and make for a spectacular sight in combination with its white edged leaves. The cultivar is winterproof and is cared for in the same manner as the rest of the species.
